Have you, a relative, or a friend been to Africa recently?

Have you or your pet had contact with anyone from Dallas recently?

Have you or your pet been in contact with a (Health Care worker) from the Dallas area?

Can any of your "Clients" answer YES to any of the questions above?

Have any of your clients been sick and died recently?

Are Animal Care Takers (Pet Groomers) being educated about this ?
Is the pet grooming industry ready to deal with this?

"The risk that dogs might spread Ebola is very small in the U.S. or other places where dogs aren't near corpses or eating infected animals",
said Sharon Curtis Granskog, a spokeswoman for the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Such B/S! and Ebloa infections were not likely to happen in the US.

The lies and the misinformation.
CDC has scrubed it's web - removing much of what was known in 2002.

And now we are supposed to believe……..?

"Bush Meat" smuggled into US not only ends up in our markets but is surely getting into dog food too.
Now contaminated EBOLA infected - Bush Meat is a real possibility!

Then there were 2 infected ……….then 4………then 8……?

So at the taxpayers expense - about 10,000 people are being evaluated in the USA prior to this 2nd. hospital worker.
How many pets are being evaluated?
Only one pet is being monitored that I know of and it belongs to the first infected nurse?

What are the protocals for pet groomers if:
A client is sick when dog is presented for an appointment ?
How can a groomer know the client just has the flu?

A lot more questions need to be asked and answered and soon!

The second nurse called the CDC asking them if it was ok for her to fly.
Even telling the CDC that she had been in contact with an Ebola patient and having a fever of 99.5
she was told it was ok to fly!

INCOMPETENCE !
or
INSANITY!
IMO - BOTH

Researchers reportedly said,
"Given the frequency of contact between humans and domestic dogs, canine Ebola infection must be considered as a potential risk factor for human infection and virus spread. Human infection could occur through
licking, biting, or grooming."

Part of our work as animal care-takers (Pet Groomers); we deal will with animal waste and body fluids not to mention the affectionate licking pet and aggressive fear biter.
