Eight weeks Wow! and if I remember your a lone mobile groomer.
How did you re-schedule 8 weeks of clients in among the clients already scheduled for eight weeks later?
How long did it take you to catch up? How did you deal with 8 weeks of lost income?
I mean bills kept coming right?

My clients are all on a 4, 6 or 8 week grooming cycle so for the most part they missed one grooming cycle, the 4 week dogs missed two. I picked the easier dogs to start with and worked longer days and 7 days a week till I was caught up and back to a normal schedule.

Lost income? That's where savings came in, and went.

Update on surgery.... I still am in pain even with physical therapy. I start back driving school bus on April 8th, but a few weeks ago I made the tough decision to close down my shop into at least until Oct. I called all my clients to let them know that I wasn't able to even hold a pair of clippers in my hand. I told them I wanted to wait till I was 100% ready before I layed clippers on the dogs, and honestly I'm just tired!!
