Reply with quote | #1 | This is a notice to board members to be kind and kind enough to show respect to one another. Each of us are different and have different beliefs and ways of doing things, we are adults and should be able to either express ourselves without offending others or causing parties not involved to have to roll their eyes. Just be kind. It will make everyone feel better, life is short enjoy it. __________________ Making the world a more colorful place

When someone disagrees and expresses their opinion in a way that it is offensive or hurtful to others then that person should apologise when it becomes apparent that she has offended someone. An apology doesnt mean you have to agree with others opinions or way of doing something, it just means that you acknowledge that your opinion was worded in a way that stepped on someones toes.Alot of us are hard workers and can have stressful days.I like many others will get on their labtops in bed after a stressful day to unwind and share our trials and tribulations as well as our knowledge and experience.I can see where it would be easy to accidently say something offensive when stating an opinion after a grueling day, but to not acknowledge the offense by simply saying ,"I am very sorry I hurt your feelings, I didnt mean it the way it came out, what I meant to say was........" By not doing that and continueing to lash out at those that have been offended makes the offense deliberate. |
